It is our aim to provide our clients with as much security and privacy as they require in dealing with Platinum Financial Consulting LTD (Platinum), whilst still obtaining all necessary and regulatory information required to provide a compliant sale.
Wherever possible we provide instant quotation systems on our websites that enable the customer to get the information they want without giving us their personal contact details.
On an initial enquiry we only require a name and e-mail address to be provided to enable us to discuss basic concepts. However the client must accept that failure to disclose a material fact to either Platinum, any business partner or a product provider could result in the customer not receiving the anticipated benefit from the product.
All of our on-line application forms are protected by 128 Bit SSL encryption keys and information is sent via 128bit SSL certificates. This is the same technology that is used by major banks, government institutions and credit card companies.
We will not telephone clients unless we have their permission to do so. Entering a telephone number on any of our electronic enquiry forms is taken as permission to call. We will not telephone you to try to secure additional business in the future.
Where personal and/or financial information is to be sent to a customer we will only send such information to a specific e-mail address on specific instruction from the customer.
We will only pass your detail on to our business advisers and only when you ask us to do so. We will not pass on your details to any third party.
When you become a client we may write to you from time to time with newsletters and important information that we feel may be of use to you or which relates to the business you have undertaken with us. You have the right to opt out of these communications if you so wish. We will only telephone you if the matter relates directly to the business you have undertaken with us.
Where business services are provided to the firm by third parties then circumstances may arise which warrant the disclosure of more than just your basic contact details. On these occasions, such as processing business, and obtaining compliance and regulatory advice, you agree that personal information held by the firm may be disclosed on a confidential basis and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 to such third parties. You agree that this information may be transferred electronically, e.g. e-mail. You also agree that any such third party or ourselves may contact you in future by any means of communication that we consider appropriate at the time.
We will treat your personal information as private and confidential (even when you are no longer a customer), except where we are permitted by law or where the disclosure is made at your request or with your consent in relation to arranging your financial business.
As a business regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority(FCA) we may be required by the FCA as part of their compliance activity to allow them access to our customer records. The FCA confirm that such information will only be sought for Compliance activities.
Our firm is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998. You therefore have rights of access to your personal records held by this firm.
